Electron Colum
The key part of EB welder is the Electron Colum.
Being heated in the Colum, the Cathod will shoot out an electron beam due to the function of the electric field voltage between the Cathode and the Anode which is about tens of thousands volt.
The beam pass through the hole of the Anode, focused by the magnetic field of the Focus Coil, inject the surface of the Workpieces at 70% of velocity of light.
The great power of moving electron change to heating power inside the Workpieces then melts this part.
Working under high voltage and to avoid the losing of EB power, the Electron Colum and the Chamber must be in a vacuum condition.
